Rutherglen is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament covering part of South Lanarkshire, immediately to the south-east of Glasgow. It encompasses the historic burgh of Rutherglen and the town of Cambuslang, along with parts of Blantyre, all of which form a largely urban and suburban area with strong connections to Glasgow city centre. The constituency is part of the Glasgow electoral region.
